First David, no one is denying muslims their 1st amendment rights, that’s why there are mosques all over the NY area. Think hard now David, ready? Building permits, ramifications thereof please, no glib answers now, be serious. And speaking of 1st amendment rights, is that not precisely what the opponents of this PARTICULAR location are exercising?
I really don’t wish to deny you your urges to a supposed moral superiority but there is no denial of constitutional rights here.
Thanks for the little lecture on the 1797 treaty and the moral posturing connected to it. You left out one little thing; subsequent to that treaty we went to war with muslims, the Barbary Coast War, something about piracy & slavery, a mere trifle, a minor detail to be sure to one such as yourself.
