If the Republicans had any backbone or even a coherent vision of what it will take to restore liberty in this country, they’d de-fund both NPR and PBS. The Democrats complain viciously about Fox, just how long do you think it would last if it depended on public funding? Right, about 3 seconds.

Defunding these taxpayer funded left wing mouthpieces would be tricky. I would suggest first having the Republican President announce that everybody at PBS/NPR would be fired and replaced with Fox news type conservatives, and the networks would be just as conservative as they are now liberal. After the screaming settles down, institute a “compromise”. Give the networks a year to set up a totally public contribution model than then turn off the tax spigot.
