In America’s democratic past the middle class forced the immoral among those with power and riches to pretend to the good ethics and values of the middle class. Marxist shamed the rich and powerful to the point where the sons of the elite wanted to pretend they were no better than the lower class — and which point their unethical and immoral behavior became a feature and not a bug.
