I’ve tried to listen to Obama and hear what others seem to hear, his soaring, inspiring rhetoric, but his speeches always leave me cold. There is no warmth in his voice. To me he seems disconnected from the actual words that he utters, if that makes any sense. Maybe it’s the lack of passion in his speech I’m hearing? In Limbaughs speech at cpac he seemed to jump all over the place, yet he spoke with such passion that it left you with no doubt that he actually believed what he was saying.
