Because it doesn’t fit the preferred narrative of the paper, and/or because the current purpose of the legacy media is to keep news out of circulation, not disseminate it, the Inquirer is in stealth mode regarding the testimony of J. Christian Adams. Adams spoke yesterday at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights regarding the New Black Panthers’ efforts at voter intimidation at a Philly-area poling place on election day, 2008. But as area blogger Tania Gail of Midnight Blue asks, “Why is the Philadelphia Inquirer Ignoring A Story of the Year?”
Not surprisingly, the Philadelphia Inquirer makes no mention of this blockbuster of a story on today’s (7/7/10) front page (see photo below). Then again, this paper endorsed candidate Obama, the journalists employed at the Inq (save one) do not have the courage to speak truth to power when the politician has a ‘D’ dangling after their name. Oh, note that there is no mention of the world’s worst ecological disaster on the front page as well. How far will the Inquirer and its journalist compromise their credibility in order to carry water for Obama and his administration?

When the British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan dumped some of his closest cabinet colleagues to extricate himself from a political crisis, the Liberal leader Jeremy Thorpe responded: “Greater love hath no man than to lay down his friends for his life.”
For the MSM, greater love hath no newspaper than to lay down its reputation for the president they did everything possible to elect.
