But one thing I DO know is this: as an adult, there is very little that I pay less attention to than the pontificating of young children on matters political and scientific.

Are they supposed to be authority figures on climate change?  I can&#039;t imagine so.  Yet here they are, telling me what&#039;s going to happen to the planet.

So why use the kids at all?

Apparently because the facts by themselves won&#039;t suffice to move us to action.  Which means one of two things:

1) Either the authors of this message think we&#039;re idiots who can&#039;t reason to the right conclusion and thus need to be pulled along by our heartstrings; or

2) The authors of this message know that their arguments are no damn good on their own.

Either way, color me unimpressed.</description>
