Just what was wrong with the old gear-and-lever machines anyway? They can't be hacked, because there's nothing to hack, and they can be examined by both sides before and after the election to confirm that they work, have been properly zeroed, and the actual tally is the same as the reported tally. Will the results help my state's Senators and Representatives hear me any better? Allow me to try again...back away from cap and trade, stimulus 2, health care reform in its current form (try tort reform instead), and every other job killing, income redistributing "program" Pelosi-Obama-Reid come up with. We need jobs. We need support for the military. We need you to listen to us (your constituents) and not just the message coming from the teleprompter. Or not. And if not, 2010 could be another exciting election night. I've voted for very few Republicans in my 33 years of voting but I could learn to do so.
