The re-urbanization train has already left the station. Within 20 minutes of where I'm sitting (about 55 miles from mid-town Manhattan) there are numerous industrial parks that specialize in light manufacturing. In fact, many new immigrants commute out of the city to entry level manufacturing jobs.

Urban politicians chased out the middle class, then they chased out most of the blue collar manufacturing jobs. Now they want to get them back by legislating density levels. Good luck wit dat.

It's the Democrat Cash Cow Strategy:

Herd the sheeple into the cities.
Make them dependent on the government.
Take their wages in taxes and tie up the rest in government programs where membership and payment are compulsory. Eventually this will place them in debt from which they can never escape.
Take their weapons and any means of resistance.
From cradle to grave, control them.
