Neo-neocon: “Wendy Davis: “empowerment” and the poor little woman; “struggle” and the man.”

I'm surprised that anyone even bothered to check out the actual facts - or that anyone cared.

It's all about the "narrative" today. There has to be a story, like an oppressed woman rises up against all odds against the brutal Patriarchy.

That's why lots of people didn't really care what the real facts were with regard to the Duke "rape" case a few years ago. The narrative was a good one (for feminists): Heteronormative, over-privileged white boys rape a good black woman who is only trying to put herself through school against all odds against the brutal Patriarchy.

All I can say is that the people of Texas are really going to miss Rick Perry when he's gone.

True, Wendy Davis has one sugar daddy she exploited, and she deserves to be taken to task for it. She deserves all of the derision she gets for being a deceptive, hypocritical, poo flinging Democrat, and her behavior and quotes shows that she's in it for her own self-aggrandization, not the interests of Texans.

On the other hand, Greg Abbott collects billions on the backs of single dads throughout Texas, and turns a blind eye towards women who owe child support, and men's court ordered rights to visit their own children. He's not too keen on that putative father registry, either, it seems, either, when it comes to putting dads first when mom wants to adopt out the child (ostensibly to avoid paying child support to the dad, it seems)

Wendy Davis has provided a lot of reasons to avoid her. Aside from the fear of the damage Wendy's ilk could do to the state, Greg Abbott doesn't bring much to the table that any father should vote *for*. His record shows when it comes to milking the fed, he's a pro, too.

Has anybody ever seen Wendy Davis and Cruella DeVil in the same room at the same time? I'm telling you, it's just a matter of time before we start hearing about Dalmatian coats with this one...

“be immediately restrained from . . . using illegal drugs or consuming alcohol within 24 hours before or during the period of possession of or access to the child.”

The court also ordered Wendy Davis to keep out of her residence anyone she was having “intimate or dating relationship[s]” with while children were present between 10pm and 6am...

Davis’s husband, who paid Davis’s way through Harvard Law School by cashing in his 401(K) and taking out a loan, claimed Davis committed adultery on him.

To Democrats and more importantly, Feminists, the above is what a hard working single mom looks like. Which is yet more proof that leftist feminism is akin to a mental disorder.

When men do such despicable things, they are rightly derided as users and abusers and unfit parents. Not so, when the person is a narcissistic lefty woman, who is mocked as "Abortion Barbie".

"But no mention is made of her lawyer husband who says he paid for her last 2 years at TCU and her education at Harvard Law School. Perhaps more politically damning for Davis, her ex-husband also told The Dallas Morning News that Davis filed for divorce the day after he finished paying off her Harvard student loan."

Well, she had to struggle a little bit to find a sap to pay for everything. The part about filing for divorce the day after he made the last payment is a nice touch.
