Sarah Palin is the Commander-in-Chief of the Alaskan National Guard. And has the only permanent active duty National Gaurd Unit, a Missile Defense Battalion with the mission to protect America from N. Korean missiles.
She probably has a higher security clearance than Barack, especially considering his known associations disqualify him immediately. Yes, a Senator can not have clearance. And I know this from personal experience.
She has Foreign Policy experience. Russia and Canada are next door. Fishing disputes, oil disputes, good-will delegations.
Any Governor will tell you, that years in Governor positions is better than years in Legislative. Look at the great governors turned Presidents we had. Clinton, Reagan, Harry S. Truman, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln, among many others.
