Luke 16:18 tells me that John McCain is and adulterer, a sin that equal to homosexuality in God’s eyes. It also tells me that every time he lays with his current wife he once again commits adultery. He has yet to turn from his adulterous lifestyle and ask for forgiveness. Until he does this 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 tells me that he is doomed to not inherit the Kingdom of God.
As a Christian, I fail to see how this is God’s choice for me to vote for president. Call me crazy, but I take seriously the vows of marriage and don’t see anywhere in the Bible where there is an out, short of your spouse committing adultery. One can’t just ask for forgiveness and move on to spouse #2, #3 and so on. There are consequences for these actions that have been laid out for us to abide by. There is only one “out” for us on this subject provided by God, and that is to give up the adulterous lifestyle and ask for forgiveness. The hypocrisy of Sen. John McCain is too much for me to give him my vote. This is the one social issue that is fully covered by the Bible.
