Might it be that most of us are realists (Not starry eyed multicultural relativists) and have seen it all before (Iran, Afghanistan, Somalia, Sudan, Iraq etc.)………
Don’t think for a moment that all those ‘protesters’ and ‘reformers’ you see are revolting to establish a ‘Western style’, free, open, democratic and just society.
As soon as they have disposed of the Assad clan they will go on the street to burn American flags and call for the destruction of America and Israel… Allahu Akbar!
Violence ALWAYS occurs after Friday ‘prayer’.
Somehow I don’t think they are hearing a message of conciliation, a ‘turn the other cheek, love thou brother and sister’ kind of sermon.
When all the killing has finished there will be another ruthless dictatorship dominated by another tribe\clan until the next bloodbath……
