Miraj, you’re correct. God is one. But the oneness is the unity between Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
If God was a single individual there would be no need for Him to say “I am One God.” His oneness would be obvious.
God always refers to Himself in the plural. For example in Genesis. “Let us make man in our own image.”
Jesus spoke of his oneness with The Father. “I and the Father are one.” He told His apostles to go and make “disciples of all nations baptising them in the name (singular) of The Father and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit.”
