Palin positives:
1. In the era of identity politics, she is a woman with executive experience (hello Hillary disenfranchised)
2. She is a leader at the epicenter of “energy independence” issues with an intimate knowledge of ANWR, et al.
3. She IS a TRUE outsider to DC
4. She is robust, pretty (it does count!) intelligent, engaging, witty.
5. She is a dedicated mother of five (one with Down’s Syndrome). Kind of makes the pro-choicers look shallow, huh?
Bottom line, this election will be a complete blow-out – not quite McGovern or Mondale, but a beat-down none the less.
