I would like to correct a common error I keep seeing in this thread. Alex Jones and his followers are NOT liberals. Rather, they are ultra-conservatives. I came in contact with Alex back in the 90′s when I worked with him to rebuild the Branch Davidian church in Waco, TX. I am very proud of my participation in that project, as I think the government did those people wrong. That being said, I am ashamed of my black helicopter days of the 90′s. The government screwed up. They were not in some conspiracy to take over the world starting in Waco. Hell, the government can’t even keep war plans in Iraq and Afghanistan secret. What makes anyone believe they could keep plans to take over the world secret? Alex Jones is a bit paranoid and he sees shadows behind every tree, but he is no liberal. I agree with the starting point of his paranoia–that the government as it stands has far over-reached its Constitutional authority. For that reason, I will not support McCain, nor will I support Obama. It is time to look to the Libertarians and Bob Barr for this election.
