“Rational.” How fascinating. Thank you for the breaking news that civilians are killed in modern war. I had not actually heard that anywhere before…but wait, faint recollections stir. 2.5 million German civilians were killed in WWII, “victims” of foreign invaders and a thundering indictment of America and her allies…as long as you are willing to completely ignore the history bearing on that statistic. Most agree that the bulk of the war guilt for German civilian deaths lies with the Nazis who started the war.
I just love how you fatuous, credulous idiots spout off a number of civilian fatalities with unquestioned faith that you have established American war guilt beyond doubt. However, you willfully ignore the vastly greater number of people slaughtered, subjugated, and terrified for decades by the gangsters who ran Iraq prior to their being removed from power by the US. Who is morally culpable for the civilian deaths? Saddam Hussein bears the vast share of guilt, but yet his name never comes up in the Damn America First, Last and Always circles.
