Can Obama Survive the Annenberg Cover-up?

They used to say that only cockroaches would survive an all out nuclear war.

Lately, though, I’ve been hearing a slightly different survival comparison. Which goes something like this.

They used to say that Barack Obama could easily refute the findings of the Annenberg Report. Now, though, most analysts aren’t giving Barack Obama even odds for being able to survive the Annenberg report.

In fact, apparently now there is some real doubt whether anything but cockroaches will survive it. You see, cockroaches can’t talk, therefore they can’t color the truth.

The same can’t be said of politicians like Barack Obama who’s boxed himself in a corner saying he always had nothing but a very superficial relationshiop with Bill Ayers, the unrepentent bomber of everything from police stations to the Pentagon.

And make no mistake, there are politicians like Barack Obama. One, off the top of my head who reminds me of Obama is Bill Clinton.

Example: A few years back, Bill Clinton didn’t want a drama run on network TV that traced the times Clinton and the U.S.government had Osama Ben Ladin in their sights and we’re too afraid to pull the trigger. Which in all liklihood would have prevented 9/11 from ever happening, and saved countles lives.

To prevent the show from running on TV where people would see Clinton for the incompetent, self centered, lying-through-the-teeth pompous ass he really is and was, Bill and a team of lawyers threatened the network, not only to sue it, but the FCC.

Bill threatened a lot of bad things, but to little avail. The network pretty much ran the show the way they produced it in the first place because they knew legally Clinton couldn’t do anything. It was just a paper tiger making a lot of churlish noice.

Now, the comparison with Barack.

These days, Obama is fuming about a Republican commercial focusing in on Obama’s close, personal relationship with Bill Ayers. So he’s taking a page out of Bill Clinton’s dirty playbook threatening a bunch of TV stations so they won’t run the commercial.

As you may not know, the commercial standards and practices don’t apply to political commercials. Politicians don’t want it to. Allowing politicians to say most anything they want. Lie like drunken lobbyists, if you will.

In trying to get stations not to run the commercial, Barack, like Clinton, doesn’t have a legal leg to stand on. But he’s going through the motions like he does. Which makes life at the TV stations fairly uncomfortable.

With the trump card threat, of course, being, that, if Barack gets elected, he will see to it that the stations’ licenses aren’t renewed.

It’s the politics of hope and changed in action.
