There was really no drama here – just one guy (and maybe another fool or two) – out to make his bucks.
Well, it was rather more than one guy and another fool or two. I’d guess (things were a little busy at the time) that it was maybe a dozen or so. It is obvious however that Jones was spoilin’ for a fight — he had his video crew with him. One of them got some lovely footage of my beard. (Hint: “in your face video” doesn’t mean quite that tight.)
Theo, you’re right, Jones was screaming “keep your hands of me.” The first time was right after he shoulder slammed me from behind. Another was after he delivered an elbow to my kidney. If he feels he was assaulted, he’s welcome to swear out a warrant — if he’s still in the state. I suspect he may have looked up “felony menacing” by now. Denver PD already has access to the video.
On the business about the audio, I refer you to my explanation to Boris. And my characterization of a person who would be fooled into thinking it was a “devil voice.”
