The “three D’s” are good, especially the Double Standard. Israel is not perfect (no human institution is) and yes, they have sometimes treated the Palestinians harshly. But by any remotely objective measure Israel is a shining beacon of liberty, democracy and human rights compared to the rest of the Middle East, most of which is a bloody abominable human rights hellhole as we are now having so vividly displayed for us by the many revolts and uprisings taking place.
