German hatred towards Jews did not suddenly appear with the Nazis and it did not suddenly disappear with their fall. But at this point it is probably no different than the general sentiment within numerous European states, like Norway, Austria (historically, the worst of all), Hungary …etc…
Past behavior predicts the future. The Germans will accomodate as much as possible to the positions of the Arab states and Iran for their own economic gain, while avoiding conflict with the United States’ position. One would think the Israelis understand this, but then again people are susceptible to delusion.
Most Germans, like most Europeans, are completely indifferent to Israel’s survival.
