Given that ‘States do not have friends or enemies-only interests’,Germany is little different from other European nations in a continent where traditionally anti-Semitism has been the watchword. Leopards don’t change their spots and these particular one are very mucky and very deep. Thank God for the United States also Canada and Australia where there is no such ‘baggage’and stand by the only bastion of Western democracy in the region.
