There are so many fine replies to this post,that I find myself wanting to answer most in agreement, but I find you summed it up for me:
“The man’s reasoning lies somewhere between laughably bad and obviously craven;except to condemn the possible effects of his Orwellian pronouncements, he should merely be ignored if at all possible.”
