Joseph, a simple click of the link will reveal that “The Passion” made well over a half-billion dollars — $611 million to be exact.
I don’t thinks it’s Pajamas with the credibility problem here.
And those of you think touchy-feely, Hallmark cards like “The Nativity” somehow contradicts the idea that there was no “me-too phenomenon” after “The Passion” obviously don’t understand what made “The Passion” a half-billion dollar-plus phenomenon.
Any sane industry interested in money would’ve offered Gibson whatever he wanted to create a follow-up in the same style about the “Acts of the Apostles.”
