It’s been awhile since I ever dug up PETA’s website, but as I recall, they advocate the non-ownership of pets, i.e. pets are verbotten. As well as not using animals for medical research. Which is rather sticky for them, considering one of their VP’s (assuming she still works for them) uses insulin derived from horses to control her diabetes. Funny, the rest of us should die from their beliefs, but they should be able to engage in blatant hypocrisy since they are only doing what is best.
