“Unfortunately, by tarring as a racist anyone who prefers a little patriotism, economic realism, and experience in a presidential candidate, I fear the left is only fueling a potential conflagration.”
In both directions, so to speak.
After years of being told that Bush is the same as Hitler, that being a Republican is the same as being a Nazi, and that opposition to Obama is tantamount to racism, will people react with the hoped-for horror? Or will they shrug and say, “Well, the Nazis had spiffy uniforms and got to kill people they didn’t like, so…”
