A major problem, as I see it, is that Obama fails to deploy our military in a timely manner to deal with foreign enemy piracy on the high seas, as the Constitution empowers, and expects, the federal government to do.
And, as you pointed out, when the military is deployed, it is hamstrung with such ridiculous rules of engagement that it can’t possibly win.
Case in point: This Somali pirate nonsense has been going on much too long. But the pirates are jihadis, so you won’t find Obozo doing anything to curb their activities. And the Senate and House are too pusillanimous to declare war on them and vote funding to clear out the pirates, according to their Constitutional duty.
