Now dan, we obviously can’t stop talking about Obama; he is just too important. On the other hand, it is also clear that “Barack Hussein Obama” is not a name to be used trivially; realistically, we should only say the name if we are addressing him directly. In other circumstances, we could simply use that “O” hand gesture. e.g. “Last night, I was completing my mandatory reading of the autobiography written by [makes "O" hand gesture].” In print, we could simply type the letter “O”. In order to avoid confusion with the other wise, powerful and benevolent “O” from Chicago, we would need to use a special font to create a skinny O. Of course, would also have to change the font color from the default of black.
