These rumors stick to Obama because there is some doubt about his honesty. He’s evasive and frequently needs to explain his own words, simply because he’s not clear about what he says. His behavior makes many people suspicious and that opens the door for all sorts of rumors. I neither believe or disbelieve the rumors until they are proven to be true or false.
As many people have stated, he may be eligible but he’s certainly not qualified. The exercise of investigating our candidates is a necessary freedom and I’m grateful to the bloggers and others who are doing the investigating. Let us not forget that John McCain’s eligibility based on place of birth has already been rumored out and proven beyond any doubt. Believe the rumors or not, or help to prove or disprove them, but don’t kill the messenger!
