The author is just a tad more subtle than Myra Adams but not much. Her criteria exclude Sarah Palin for sure but who has saved his state from bankruptcy? Christie?…not by a long shot! I hear that, despite threatening suicide as the only means of discouraging folks from urging him to run, he’s formed an exploratory committee! Might be the only way to save his rep in the long run! (Its called the Peter Principle BTW!)
Basically I’m counting on the “fool me once theory” for Obama’s defeat. But the Republican nominee will have to be willing to point out all of Obama’s failures and broken promises and be careful not to make fanciful promises himself because the mess we are in is not entirely Obama’s fault and will take many years to fix.
