Yeah. Well, the problem is that Obama starts with about 30% of the electorate in his hip pocket–blacks, and the chattering classes who see in him what they wish they saw in the mirror. They do not vote for him based on performance or even policies, but racial solidarity (blacks) and a crush (chatterers). They will not be peeled away by mere competence or logic.
So, Obama’s opponent has to carry the votes actually in play by 2:1 or more, a very high hurdle, esp. after allowing for the media bias and vote fraud that are simply part of the Democratic Party’s toolkit.
