McDonnell’s hole to dig out of was not nearly as deep as the ones in Wisconsin or New Jersey. Even with the last dim-witted Democrat Governor, the state assembly was in Republican hands.
Add the fact that VA is a right to work state, our first black Governor way back signed the law making public unions illegal, and finally:
We have the People’s Democratic Republic of Maryland just north of us to show how bad liberals can be.
McDonnell has done a good job with managing the debt; there are still some pension funding issues, but they are manageable in comparison to what the rest of the Nation’s taxpayers are facing.
