“When someone with a just and virtuous heart learns of the tactics imagined, created, and employed by these people they wonder, what kind of human being has the ability to even imagine something as wicked as this? Every last damned one of them is WARPED by EVIL. This latest is breathtaking in its monstrosity.”

What motivates them ? I haven’t heard of these particular people prior to this article, but I have seen the same argument on a university campus when I was last at school.It was disgusting but pitiful.It made me cringe and caused a falling out with a life-long friend.No loss really.

I have thought about it since-many times. No doubt this state of degenerative reasoning is preyed upon by evil, the evil of those around these folks who think that if this perspective comes from Jewish people, it carries more weight.

I have come to think this is an outcome from a combination of things that occured in these people’s lives. Firstly, they may have been children of extremely fearful people to begin with or were never able to recover from the terror they were exposed to. They may have blamed their fellow victims for allowing the Holocaust to happen and the trauma they endured. Finally, they may feel guilt for surviving. Altogether, a pretty uncomfortable way to live life-sickening fear/unresolved anger/oppressive guilt.

It has to be a severe mental illness brought on by trauma. That is the only thing that makes sense. Obviously Israel is nothing whatsoever like Nazi Germany. Not even in the wildest imaginings. These ‘activists’ can torture the facts until the cows come home(and I have seen that many times at the Guardian forums) but they look ridiculous to the sane and informed.

The problem here is a serious one though because these messages of distortion are targeting a very large body of young,inexperienced,uninformed know-it-all-university students. Will the listeners ever take the time to verify any of the facts or will they just take the emotional route ? I’m not hopeful because I know of two people teaching in university that propogate this misinformation, are too emotional to approach and are woefully ignorant on this topic.

The people who do this should be treated as damaged beyond recognition but a campaigne should be waged in order to counter them. I don’t believe they could continue if they were held in an atmosphere where they were challenged and rebutted.
