Tragic and inspiring post – I emailed it to my kids (homeschool) for discussion. I was quite taken aback by some of the comments however. Are people really still thinking that liberals are somehow behind the erosion of our liberties and the rise of the Patriot-Act State? Or that liberals are the secret agents of the new totalitarianism? Turn off the TV people… We’re in it a lot deeper than your petty political biases would lead you to believe.
