“While he preaches that the rest of us must dramatically change our lifestyles and lower our standards of living to “save the planet” he lives by another set of rules himself.”
Gore has never said we need to lower our standard of living; in fact he assures us we don’t have to (as long as we act quickly). We need to change our fossil fuel consumption and develop alternatives – why are you opposed to that? Are you an oil mogul?
If we continue to hide our heads in the sand and deny global climate change we will be forced to change our lives, for the worse, when global food crises come home and non-renewable energy sources become depleted.
