Now for the next fun and games, we are going to put the ladies into the combat outfits. I want to see if they will have to meet the same standards as the males. I think most of us know the answer, NO! The current military probably has the same set of stands now that they had in 84, girls meet the girls standard and the guys meet the original standard, which the little ladies are exempt from.
Actually, it could be worse. I have a friend who is a career soldier in the Canadian Forces and he says men and women have to satisfy the same standards – but the standard is set ridiculously low so that the women can meet it. For instance, both men and women must be able to do 9 (yes, that’s NINE, not ninety) pushups. In short, political correctness results in standards so low that they are farcical.
