“We always assume what has been will always be..” That from a book called A Distant Crossing. History provides no assurance that we will survive our own folly. We elect fiscal sociopaths, and stand back in wonder that they spend all the money in the piggy bank. We elevate many human train wrecks to “Senator” or “Congressman” or “Judge” and wonder why their policies defy common sense. “Any system created by man can be destroyed by man..” That’s from the book, too.
