America (and Canada, David) have been…and are continuing to be…beaten with their own rulebooks. Democracy has at once a tough hide, but delicate bones.
The skeletal framework can be fractured in numerous ways. Not the least of which is the constant assault for 40 years from within. The disease of rampant, unchecked leftism has caused the “brittling” of our weight bearing bones and creaking of our joints. Our knees are buckling under the weight of four decades of the invasive indoctrination of a pack of lies, slander, false attributions, and the propping up of nearly every enemy of this land of ours in its history…including the present.
The dogged and determined left has shattered our self-confidence, destroyed our economic advantages, squandered our natural resources, weakened our resolve and attacked the very basis of our unity.
No, David…we are no longer the same United States of my youth. We are neither united…and, increasingly, there are no longer states. Many of our individually named lands are now nothing more than wards of the left, having been first disrupted, then bankrupted and corrupted, for the benefit of leftists and their stooges in union halls, ACORN-like front groups and pension and entitlement engorgement.
Our states are incapable of ruling on their own border safety as children and missionaries and jet skiers are gunned down with impunity. We have 500,000 new entitlement seekers a year, puncturing another vein to draw from the taxpayers last droplets of disposable income.
If there are 58 of any organized group, that would mean that the Organization of the Islamic Conference has added one new member. Perhaps in secret, perhaps only in spirit, perhaps in Freudian slippage.
In Stanley Kurtz’ book Radical-In-Chief, it is clear that many of the “results” we see today…for which we stunningly attribute to “chance”, “incompetence” and “necessity” were openly discussed and orchestrated on pilot local programs.
The disease of leftism has caused a necrosis of our will to defend ourselves from further attacks. We are so numb to them that they barely register a wince, we tsk-tsk the treachery and we tut-tut the treason.
We will not go out with a bang, nor a whimper. We will continue to ingest the poison, force fed by our complicit and polluted “mainstream” media, Hollywood and academia. And we will expire in our sleep.
Having slumbered upon the tyranny of those who mean to disguise their intent to destroy us. We have been in a war we have been losing for more than 40 years. America has been gang raped right before our very eyes. And we barely have raised a peep (relatively speaking), in her defense…and we have neither the gumption nor the organizational skills, the realization nor the will…to raise a finger to stop today’s and tomorrow’s violation of her as well.
Eric Holder called us a nation of cowards and Jeremiah Wright asked for God to Damn America. I’m afraid these dear friends of our President have it right. As do all the leftists who wish to rule us. Guilty as hell and free as bird.
Obama will be re-elected in 2012. ACORN, the unions, Hollywood, academia, the “mainstream” media, government workers, pensioners, “minority” entitlement holders…will all see to it. One way…or the other.
That’s a formidable base…with a 40 year head start. There is not enough “unity” amongst “everyone else” to stop it. We couldn’t agree on the color of a Shi’ite.
