Alll the work on the State spending, getting tough on Union’s to stand with the citizens of NJ and feel the need to cut back and participate in these hard economic times, talking honeslty and frankly to every corner of NJ of exactly what is avail to work with , which is very little, and being viewed as one of the Gov’s that be seen as a model for others to follow and maybe a hope for the office of President, has now been shattered. I am unsure how this appointment will pan out in the ability to truly be effective and how any ruling will escape close examination.
A whole host of other issues will now be fore front and IMHO I feel that this will be more of a hinderence than a help.
Was it an idea worth persuing in appointing this person? On maybe quick glance possibly, but only a quick glance, are the credentials there? On paper yes, but no where else, and a Judge on the NJ Supreme Ciurt needs to be so much more. Now was that time to give so much back to the people of NJ in this appointment, sad to see it was thrown away, and another oppurtunity lost for NJ to shine a bit brighter
