I remember many years ago when the movie “Dr. Strangelove” came out that the definition of the neutron bomb became public. As described it was designed as a weapon to kill the population of an area and to leave infrastructure intact. The example given was the oil producing middle East. It appears that from the earliest days, 1960′s, that the smart planners knew that the middle East would most likely become hostile to the West and their resources would still be required for the survival of the West. If the Islamists continue to push for world domination and Sharia law for all, then the weapons locker might have to be unlocked.
