I’ve recently started to use the Feudalism word. I read an article somewhere that used it and it rang true with all of the things I have been thinking about self-styled elite / ruling class / marxist left.
It crystalizes a lot of that and avoids the terms marxist and socialist, which many people have been brainwashed to think are slurs rather than actual descriptions of loathesome ideaologies.
Frankly, marxism is a direct descendant of feudalism. Marxism was invented in the 19th century as an overcome the power of freedom and restore “aristocrats” (whether the old aristocray or the eager new commissars) to their rightful place at the pinacle of the social pyramid. And when I say social pyramid, I really mean an upside down T…a tiny group of rulers at the top, and a 99% serf base, where the serfs are deprived of everything that would give them the least chance of rising up against the commissars.
