The truth is that this past democratic primary was severely flawed and neither candidate received the number of pledged delegates needed for the nomination. BO was selected by the superdelegates and contributions by BO to the superdelegates’ campaigns appears to have encouraged many to pledge their vote for him. The democratic party and their undemocratic process for nomination is the real problem here.
