Many fellow commenters seem to believe the bleakest speculations on the chances of our survival. Surely a mass suicide a la Jim Jones is in order. A convenient date should be set. Unfortunately, being elsewhere on that day, I won’t be able to make it. Please do, however, accept my best wishes for the success of your event.
