You can’t have a “civil war” between liberals and conservatives, and retain your principles (be them either “liberal” or “consaervative”) ie, without becoming a mass murderer.
Yes, ultimately there will be a defeat of either liberalism or conservativism (since they can’t co-exist in the realm of ideology). But in the defeat will be a defeat of ideas not of armies or people. What will eventually emerge, no one now has the foggiest idea.
