taiwanese I speak to seem fairly ambivilant regarding their relationship a the mainland. Half of them are ready to join up with their communist brethren. It’s pathetic but we have to pick our battles. I still don’t understand why we let the UK give HK to the Chinese and have handed the Panama Canal to them as well.
