“If the prisoner says he has a headache [in Baghdad], the interrogation must stop and an ambulance is called”.

I cling to the fast fading hope that this is mere hyperbole meant to illustrate a point.

But based upon the ‘resiliancy’ of the ‘insurgents’, I have a sinking feeling that it is not so ‘overstated’ as it should be. If this is even remotely true then frankly we deserve to lose. And we will.

Over and over and over again. Until we have nothing of importance left to forfeit.
