I agree, fantastic article. Most truffle articles are either too clinical and scientific, or too fluffy and just focus on the food aspect. Nancy deftly weaves a whole bunch of topics together to make this one interesting read indeed. I felt like I was riding in the back seat of that Subaru and peeking over the author’s shoulder while she dug in the dirt and mud for that elusive Oregon gold. Really captures something unique about Oregon inlcuding Czarnecki, who is a total character.
