To my American brothers,friends and collegues, as a Canadian, I will brave your criticism that I should butt out of your election process, but I feel I must offer you a warning. Do not go for the flash of Obama. We did in 1968 and elected Pierre Trudeau as our head of state because he was young and flashy and he turned out to be an unmitigated disaster for our country. Obama is all flash and no substance. Don’t be fooled by the hype.
