Are we to credit the Germans for having an abundance of wisdom in sizing up leadership potential?
I am tired of our Lamestream Media fawning over a European electorate that largely considers us Americans to be hayseeds.
Europe… the place where an unelected coterie of apparatchiks in Brussels keeps sending out different ways to compel obeisance to the E.U. Constitution and the New Politiburo. Europe… the birthplace of statism and socialism in the 19th century, which would come into full flower in the sanguinary 20th century. Leftists in power in Berlin, Rome, and Moscow… The intellectual transplanting of Marxist theory dressed up as “neo-Marxism” (Frankfurt School)to the American intellectual establishment.
So now the last place on earth where socialism is still not discredited is in the United States. We are going to have to fight a political war (maybe, in the future, an actual shooting war?)on our own soil about socialism: up or down. This truly is one conflict we need to “have it out” on. Take it from someone who was, 25 years ago, a neo-Marxist, and who had begun making a break with the Left in 1987. I’ve followed this emerging conflict very closely. It is no accident that the Left sides with America’s enemies. When the Left did this in the face of Islamic jihad they outed themselves as enemies of the Republic, however “nobly” they wish to dress up their “loyal opposition.”
