Defending decisions made by our State Department would be a never ending task. They use CAIR to “teach” (read: indoctrinate) federal employees in Islamic understanding.
The lady got herself into this mess, but unfortunately drug her children with her. As for passports destroyed…. lets get real here. If they were destroyed State had some bureaucratic reason, but it had nothing at all to do with their complicity in forcing the kids to stay in Yemen. That’s way too big of s stretch of reality.
Getting the kids back will take some sort of kidnapping by someone who will have to risk their life to get them & will face all sorts of obstacles even if they got hold of the kids. To boot, they too may be prosecuted for kidnapping back here. Talk about convoluted logic.
This guy was a mess LONG BEFORE the Patriot Act, LONG BEFORE Bush, LONG BEFORE anyone was threatening him with torture. And if he really is now a state official in Yemen, those assertions the leftists pushed on all in the fawning media were lies then. Because Yemen did not suddenly embrace this guy. He has those connections LONG BEFORE any of the 9/11 stuff, any of the legislative stuff, and long before so many have decided to make excuses for potential terrorists or terrorist sympathizers who collaborate with them in one form or the other.
Pray for the innocent kids, especially the girl. The boys may one day get out, even though by then they may have been brainwashed into radical Islamic terrorism. The girl….. well that’s an entirely different story. She will have been married off at an early age, taken advantage of, and properly chastised to behave like a good wife subjugated by nations & a faith that has no respect for her or other women & even holds they are but, essentially, chattel!
Sorry folks, but this not the fault of the government, Bush, the Patriot Act, or our immigration laws. This happened because many turned their backs on the laws then, the laws now, and reason. Too much effort was put into breaking down the system & way too much effort was put into attacking the system, with little or no thought for, the kids! Some just wanted to promote their “cause.” Everything else was irrelevant to them.
