…who not only got the insult but found it particularly funny that, in their tortured explanations, the Left gave more and more exposure to those extreme ideas. Oh, irony!

The ‘toon itself was something like an ad for extreme negative stereotypes of the Obamas.

Good job helping out your candidate, New Yorker.

Maybe the magazine could, next, parody some of the more substantive reservations about the Obamas, like…Are we rubes really mean and “complacents” ? (as a noun, eeks !) Do we cling to guns and religion as crutches to get us through our miserable lives?

Obama’s arrogance and condescension provide a lot of cartoon material. So does the litany of flip flops.

I guess blue state self-anointed “sophisticates” with an agenda just don’t get it. Sigh :)

The only question there is whether [the cover] is too sophisticated to actually be perceived the way it is intended.

Mrs. Greenspan (Andrea Mitchell) needs to get out more.
